How to Create a Tax Category

In Parsimony.com, a tax category is a grouping of taxes that are applicable to a particular item or service. To create a tax category, follow these steps:

1. Log in to your Parsimony.com account and go to the “Taxes” section.
2. Click on the “Tax Categories” tab.
3. Click on the “New” button to create a new tax category.
4. Enter a name for the tax category in the “Name” field.
5. Select the taxes that you want to include in the tax category from the list of available taxes.
6. Click on the “Save” button to save the tax category.

Once you have created a tax category, you can apply it to items or services in your account to automatically apply the taxes associated with the category to those items or services.
